Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted. Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism, maintaining high standards of presentation and service. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, cocktail options, and menu items to enhance the guest experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly. Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including restocking supplies and verifying proper food handling procedures. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales totals. Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
