Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales, utilizing knowledge of specials and pairings Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive service Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Experience with OpenTable reservations system is a plus for managing guest bookings efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred but not required; a positive attitude is essential Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your energy makes every guest's experience extraordinary!
