(Hours vary based on events and catering needs.) About Us From The Ground Up Cafe is located within a 55+ community and is open to the public. We serve chef-crafted meals and handcrafted espresso drinks in a warm, community-focused environment. We also host monthly events and offer catering opportunities. Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, friendly Full-Time Server who thrives in a hospitality-driven setting. This position includes table service, espresso drink preparation, wine and beer service, and support for events and catering. Responsibilities Provide excellent, attentive table service Prepare espresso drinks and specialty beverages Learn and confidently present our chef-crafted menu Support monthly events and special programming Assist with catering orders as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team Qualifications Serving and/or barista experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation Benefits Provided staff meal during shifts Accrued paid time off Growth and advancement opportunities Catering and event experience Supportive team environment If you're passionate about hospitality and enjoy building relationships with guests in a community-centered café, we'd love to hear from you.
