Job Description
Server - Lynbrook Eats Lynbrook Eats is looking for a friendly, dependable, and experienced server to join our team. We are a busy diner focused on great food, fast service, and making every customer feel welcome.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Enter orders correctly into the POS system
- Deliver food promptly and check on guests throughout their meal
- Handle payments and process checks accurately
- Keep tables, dining areas, and server stations clean and organized
- Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties
- Work closely with kitchen staff, bussers, and other servers
- Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures
- Help with takeout orders when needed
Qualifications:
- Previous serving experience preferred
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Weekend and holiday availability is preferred
