Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS or ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and food safety protocols Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction from arrival to departure Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize table turnover Maintain cleanliness of service areas, adhere to sanitation standards, and follow proper food safety procedures Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Familiarity with POS systems including toast POS, experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations Ability to upsell menu items confidently while respecting guest preferences Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is advantageous; culinary or kitchen experience is a bonus Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and accurate order processing Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
