Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions processing Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Provide personalized guest service by addressing questions about menu items, wine pairings, or beverage options based on guest preferences Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills to ensure timely service without sacrificing quality Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized dining area that adheres to sanitation regulations Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing Culinary experience or extensive beverage knowledge including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink service is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities Experience with fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous but not required Basic math skills for processing payments and managing tabs confidently Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor and guest relations expertise Join our team where your passion for hospitality meets a dynamic environment!
