Lead Dinner Server / Dining Room Captain - Earn $1,110-$1,460 Per Week / Housing Included Elk Lake Lodge | North Hudson, NY (Adirondack Mountains) Ready to earn great money before the season ends? Elk Lake Lodge is hiring an experienced Lead Dinner Server / Dining Room Captain for an immediate start through October 16. Housing is provided, gratuities are strong, and you'll work 40+ hours per week in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. Compensation $24.00 per hour Recent gratuities have typically ranged from $150-$500 per week (depending on hours worked and business levels) Estimated weekly earnings of $1,110-$1,460 Housing provided 40+ hours per week If you're willing to relocate for the remainder of the season, we'll provide housing...you bring your work ethic, a positive attitude, and the desire to earn excellent money. What We're Looking For We're seeking a confident, experienced server who can help lead our dinner service and deliver exceptional hospitality.
You should have:
At least 2 years of restaurant serving experience A friendly, professional personality A strong work ethic and sense of urgency The ability to stay organized and calm during service A positive, team-first attitude We'll teach you our style of service, but we're looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals of great restaurant hospitality. The Ideal Candidate This position is best suited for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work. We'll train you on how we do things at Elk Lake Lodge, but once you're comfortable, we're looking for someone who can work independently, stay one step ahead, and jump in wherever they're needed. Our best team members are self-starters. They notice what needs to be done without waiting to be asked, communicate well with their teammates, and take pride in creating an exceptional guest experience. If you're the kind of person who likes to stay busy, learns quickly, and doesn't need someone looking over your shoulder every step of the way, you'll fit in well here. The Position Our dinner service is elegant yet relaxed. We offer one seating at 6:00 PM, serving a thoughtfully prepared three-course dinner featuring: Soup or salad One meat entrée One fish entrée One vegetarian entrée Guests order their entrée in advance, allowing our team to focus on providing attentive, polished service rather than rushing between tables.
Responsibilities include:
Leading the dining room during dinner service Greeting guests and ensuring an exceptional dining experience Dining room setup and cleanup Inventory and stocking Dishwashing and general kitchen support Occasional breakfast shifts This position includes split shifts, but the primary focus is dinner service. Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Available to work 40+ hours per week Available immediately through October 16 About Elk Lake Lodge Nestled within a 12,000-acre private wilderness preserve in New York's Adirondack Mountains, Elk Lake Lodge is unlike a typical restaurant job.
