From the initial consultation through the final farewell, couples are guided every step of the way to create memories beyond expectations. This unique venue offers two exclusive wedding reception spaces with panoramic views of the Hudson River. The Grand Ballroom is ideal for a luxuriously fun indoor reception, while the outdoor ballroom provides a stunning tented experience overlooking the Mid-Hudson Bridge. The Front of House team delivers polished service, personalized attention, and seamless execution to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. We are currently seeking Front of House Servers to join our team. This posting represents a single primary role, which includes service in our event-based Banquet & Catering operations, based on experience, availability, and business needs. Additional opportunities may be available. Position Summary The Front of House Server is responsible for delivering professional food and beverage service guests. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, menu knowledge, and strict adherence to food safety and alcohol service standards. Servers support smooth operations, maintain service quality, and contribute to a positive guest experience. Essential Job Functions Greet and welcome members and guests in a professional manner Serve plated meals, buffet items, and beverages as assigned Follow event timelines, floor plans, and service instructions Explain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods Recommend specials and answer guest questions Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner Prepare itemized checks, total charges, and process payments Verify identification and comply with alcohol service laws Clear tables, remove dishes, and maintain cleanliness throughout service Stock service stations with supplies and linens Assist with setup, breakdown, and table resets for events Communicate guest needs or service issues to management or event leadership Work collaboratively with other servers, service assistants, and management Maintain professional appearance, hygiene, and conduct at all times Availability Requirements Evenings, weekends, and holidays required Flexibility based on business needs and event schedules Experience & Qualifications 1-2 years of FOH or banquet service experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced dining or event environments Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service standards Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Physical Requirements Ability to stand and remain mobile for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, squat, and work in high-volume dining or event spaces Respond to verbal instructions and visual cues in a fast-paced environment Education & Age Requirements High school diploma preferred; may be waived with relevant experience Must be 18 years of age or older
