Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding hospitality and service. Your ability to engage with guests, upsell menu items, and work collaboratively with kitchen staff will be essential to our success. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions. Upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards. Assist guests with any inquiries or requests to ensure their satisfaction. Process payments using the cash register efficiently and accurately. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing excellent guest services. Qualifications Previous experience in a server or hospitality role is preferred, particularly in a bar restaurant environment. Familiarity with Shift 4 or similar reservation systems is a plus. Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest engagement and satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who can collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow servers.
