Front of House Team Member (Server / Counter Service)

Server (Part-Time → Full-Time Opportunity) About the Role Sharkie's is looking for a friendly, fast-moving, and genuinely hospitable server to join our team. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into full-time by Summer 2026 for the right person. We're a fast-casual restaurant, gourmet market, and craft beer shop all rolled into one—so this role is a mix of traditional service, counter interaction, and helping guests navigate everything we offer. If you like staying busy, talking to people, and being part of a tight-knit team, you'll fit right in. What You'll Do Welcome guests and create a warm, easygoing experience from the moment they walk in Guide customers through our menu, including food, market items, and local craft beer Take accurate orders and communicate clearly with the kitchen Run food and drinks quickly while keeping presentation tight Handle payments using our POS system (Toast experience is a plus) Keep the dining room clean, reset tables, and stay on top of the flow of service Jump in where needed—this is a team-first environment What We're Looking For Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed Comfort with multitasking (this is not a stand-in-one-place kind of job) Basic knowledge of food safety and handling practices The Details Part-time to start, with potential for full-time by Summer 2026 Consistent weekly schedule Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Why Sharkie's We're a locally loved spot in Woodstock known for our house-made, gluten-free meatballs, curated market, and craft beer selection.
