Frequent travel required Position Overview We are looking for dependable, energetic, and customer-friendly Servers/Cashiers to join our traveling event team. Employees will work inside our candy and food concession stands at fairs and festivals , assisting customers, preparing and serving products, handling payments, and keeping the stand clean and organized. This is a traveling position , so applicants must be comfortable working at different event locations and being away from home for multiple days at a time. Events may require travel throughout Ohio and to other states. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Operate the cash register/POS system Accept cash, credit/debit card, and other approved payments Count money and provide correct change Serve candy, fudge, snacks, drinks, and other food items Assist with basic food preparation and packaging Restock products, cups, bags, napkins, and other supplies Keep counters, equipment, floors, and customer-facing areas clean Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Assist with opening and closing the concession stand Help load, unload, set up, and organize supplies when needed Monitor inventory and notify management when products or supplies are running low Work efficiently during busy rush periods Follow instructions from managers and event supervisors Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing the company Requirements Must be dependable and arrive to scheduled shifts on time Must be comfortable handling cash and making change Strong customer-service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions Must be willing and able to travel frequently Must be available for some weekends, evenings, holidays, and multi-day events Must maintain good hygiene and a professional appearance Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team Previous cashier, restaurant, concession, retail, or food-service experience is preferred but not required Travel & Scheduling Our company travels to fairs, festivals, and special events throughout the season. Assignments may last anywhere from a few days to more than a week. Employees should expect a non-traditional work schedule , including weekends and longer shifts during major events. Travel arrangements and any company-provided transportation or lodging will be discussed before each assignment.
