The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete and presented correctly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times. Support food preparation tasks as necessary, including plating and garnishing dishes. Assist with banquet service during special events as required. Provide exceptional guest services, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience with POS systems such as Toast is a plus. Background in culinary arts, hotel services, or hospitality can enhance your application. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment are crucial.
