Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Process cash and credit card payments accurately, handling cash transactions with integrity and attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables and assisting with general sanitation duties. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions about the menu, offering wine knowledge or cocktail suggestions, and ensuring guest relations are positive throughout their visit. Skills Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order entry and sales processing. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Proven ability in beverage service including spirits experience, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink service. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables during busy hours seamlessly. Demonstrated sales skills with a focus on upselling beverages and menu items to maximize revenue. Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or casual settings; nightclub or food industry experience is a plus. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences for all patrons.
