Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Restaurant Server to join our team. The Server is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences by greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals and alcoholic beverages accurately, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout each visit. The ideal candidate is dependable, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working as part of a team to create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. Duties & Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service. Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations. Accurately take customer orders and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system. Serve food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, in a timely and professional manner. Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Verify identification when required by law before serving alcoholic beverages. Process guest payments accurately using cash, credit cards, or other payment methods. Maintain clean and organized dining tables before, during, and after service. Assist with setting up and closing the dining area. Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and company policies. Complete side work and perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for processing guest payments. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic. Requirements Must be at least 20 years old (or meet state and local legal requirements). Must be comfortable serving alcoholic beverages and checking identification when required by law. No restrictions or objections to serving alcohol. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Reliable personal transportation required.
