Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive prompt, friendly, and efficient service while enjoying their meals. Responsibilities Greet and seat customers in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Answering Phones and cashing out orders. Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly while ensuring proper presentation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests leave. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Assist with food preparation as needed during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting is preferred, particularly in quick service or fast food environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
