Qualifications desired: The successful candidate for this position shall possess the following qualifications:

Specific knowledge of school lunch program as it relates to lunch components and quantity and quality control.

Knowledge of preparation, serving and storing of foods to insure palatability and non-contamination.

Working knowledge of institutional food preparation equipment.

Ability to prepare and serve food as directed and perform other duties as directly related to the scope of the general job description.

A genuine desire to serve students and staff as valuable customers.

Education:

High School Diploma

• Must hold a current ServSafe Level1 certificate or be able to obtain one within sixty (60) days.

Experience:

Preference will be given to those individuals with prior experience in the school lunch program. Should have demonstrated efficient preparation skills.
