Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their seats, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system, processing sales transactions efficiently Serve drinks and food promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation Upsell menu items including cocktails, spirits, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Manage cash handling accurately and process payments securely using Toast POS system Maintain knowledge of menu offerings including craft cocktails, wine selections, and bar specialties to provide expert recommendations Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling, serving, and cleaning duties Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions or concerns promptly to maximize guest satisfaction Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles within sports bars, nightclubs, or casual dining environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Toast POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Proven ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills in a fast-paced setting Experience with food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism during busy hours Knowledge of the food industry's best practices for upselling and increasing sales through suggestive selling techniques Join us as a Sports Bar Server where your energy fuels the fun!
