The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience while efficiently managing their orders and requests. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Deliver food and drinks promptly to guests, ensuring all items are presented beautifully. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with attention to detail. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus, enhancing communication with kitchen staff. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction. Experience as a host/host or in guest relations will be beneficial for this role.
