The Server Assistant at 1832 Steakhouse Durant, part of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, plays a vital role in maintaining smooth service flow. Working 8‑hour shifts, you will assist with pre‑bussing, water replenishment, resetting tables, and coordinating with servers to ensure each guest receives attentive, high‑quality service. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus. Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lb for extended periods. Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset. Reliability, honesty, and a diligent work ethic. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, upscale dining environment. Flexible schedule availability for 8‑hour shifts, including weekends. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. Ability to follow directions and coordinate effectively with servers. Pre‑bus dining areas by clearing debris and resetting tables for the next guests. Replenish water glasses and ensure all beverage stations are stocked. Assist servers with timely delivery of food and beverages to their sections. Coordinate service efforts with assigned servers to maintain a seamless flow. Monitor dining room for any maintenance needs and report issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness of service stations, trays, and bussing equipment. Support the front‑of‑house team during peak periods and special events. Communicate guest requests and special accommodations to the service team. Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times. Exhibit a positive, upbeat demeanor while interacting with guests and staff.
