Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Experienced Foodrunner to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that food reaches our guests promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will elevate the dining experience, making every guest feel valued and cared for. Responsibilities Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to the appropriate tables, ensuring presentation quality and accuracy. Assist with food plating, garnishing, and presentation to uphold high standards of food safety and visual appeal. Clear empty dishes, glasses, and utensils from tables efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization. Support servers by bussing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests to enhance flow and guest satisfaction. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays, equipment, or supplies following safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness in service areas by assisting with light cleaning duties including wiping down surfaces and organizing supplies. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and guests to ensure smooth service flow and address any special requests or concerns. Requirements Proven experience in food running, bussing, or related food service roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, proper handling techniques, and sanitation standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices. Excellent in-person customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Previous experience working in banquet settings or hotel environments is a plus. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
