Job Description
Overview Join our new concept Machetes in Edmond, Oklahoma! We are a Central American inspired location offering positions as Waitstaff and Kitchen Staff, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable experiences for our guests! We are on the look out for front of house staff, including hosts, waitstaff, and bartenders. Make your way to our store to apply in person Monday through Sunday 9am to 5pm to speak with a manager who is so ready to meet you & make you a part of our lively team! Duties Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their dining experience Assist with food preparation, ensuring quality standards and food safety protocols are met Serve food and beverages efficiently using a POS system & OpenTable Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchens, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices Upsell menu items to maximize sales while delivering personalized recommendations to guests Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems with cash handling expertise Support kitchen staff with food prep and plating as needed Qualifications Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills, supporting fellow team members and contributing to a positive, respectful work environment Strong work ethic & able to keep busy, especially during slower periods Able to prioritize the success of the team and restaurant over individual tasks when operational needs require flexibility Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred Familiarity with a POS system or similar platforms Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures Excellent guest relations skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction processing requiredEmbark on a rewarding career where your passion for hospitality meets your desire to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
