Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product information or demonstrations Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including balancing registers at shift end Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance the customer shopping experience Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online communication channels Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage Bilingual customers effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy Experience with POS systems and cash register operations is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to supervise or lead team members in a retail setting is a plus Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of grocery store operations and familiarity with retail sales processes Join us in creating a lively shopping environment where every customer feels valued!
