Essential Functions Deliver a Warm Welcome Greet every guest with genuine friendliness. Highlight specials and promotions in a way that feels natural, helpful, and inviting. Take Orders with Precision Listen closely, communicate clearly, and confirm accuracy to ensure the kitchen receives every detail. Make ordering easy and enjoyable for guests. Use POS Efficiently Enter orders quickly and correctly using the Point of Sale system, providing seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Serve Food and Beverages with Care Verify each plate for accuracy, deliver items promptly, and offer appropriate condiments. Follow all state, federal, and company liquor laws, ensuring responsible service at all times. Stay Engaged Throughout the Meal Replenish beverages proactively. Check in thoughtfully to ensure guests are enjoying their experience without ever feeling interrupted. Promote Desserts and Specialty Items When appropriate, offer dessert selections or specialty beverages that complement the meal and elevate the dining experience. Finish Strong Ensure guest satisfaction, present checks promptly, and process payments efficiently and accurately. Supportive Functions Perform general cleaning with standard hotel supplies to support health and sanitation standards. Clear and reset tables. Complete all assigned sidework, including replenishing condiments and restocking service stations.

Support host and call-and-collect duties:

answer phones, take orders, seat guests, and handle special requests. Attend required meetings and training sessions. Other Duties Embrace and contribute to the Hilton

culture. Maintain regular, punctual attendance in accordance with Hilton standards. Consistently uphold service expectations and operational standards. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations, guest service standards, and professional etiquette. Understanding of table settings, serviceware, and menu items. Ability to read, write, and speak English to interpret menus, record orders, and interact with guests. Ability to memorize and promote menu offerings. Ability to carry large trays (up to 40 lbs) through busy spaces throughout the shift. Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment. Ability to use a keyboard and learn POS procedures for order entry and checkout. Qualification Standards Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience One year of serving experience preferred. Prior hospitality experience is a plus. Licenses/Certificates Must obtain all state and/or local permits required for food handling or alcohol service. Grooming & Uniform Standards Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance. Uniform guidelines are provided during orientation.
