Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, efficient order handling, and expert beverage and food presentation. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverage options with enthusiasm. Take accurate orders using the Toast POS (Point of Sale) system. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of knowledge, presentation, and quality. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card payments, and processing tips. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with dish washing or bussing when needed to support team operations during busy periods. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously. Support beverage service with wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation skills. Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude. Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants, especially fine dining establishments. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage guests positively. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions processing. High level of experience with wine knowledge, spirits, and beverage service is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during shifts. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays or boxes as needed, and perform cleaning duties when required.
