Duties Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, providing a friendly and professional first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including sales upselling to enhance guest experience and revenue Provide expert knowledge on menu items, including wine pairings, spirits, cocktails, and food ingredients to assist guests in making informed choices Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly Handle guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, aiming for complete guest satisfaction and positive relations Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including cash handling and POS reconciliation Skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions Extensive food service experience in fine dining or casual restaurant settings with a focus on hospitality excellence Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine (wine knowledge), cocktails (cocktail experience), and drink presentation techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while enhancing guest enjoyment Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations within the food industry Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling procedures Knowledge of restaurant operations including bussing, serving, cashiering, host/hostess duties, and night club experience preferred for versatile roles Strong communication skills combined with a positive attitude to foster teamwork and guest engagement Join our team where your enthusiasm meets your expertise!
