Duties Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and serve food items with attention to quality, presentation, and safety standards. Manage customer orders from start to finish, including processing cash transactions and handling credit card payments securely. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies regularly. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities. Ensure food safety protocols are followed diligently, including proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures. Assist with retail sales transactions when applicable, supporting overall restaurant operations. Support team members in serving guests promptly during busy periods to ensure quick service times. Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and assisting colleagues as needed. Experience Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in food preparation, handling cash transactions, and operating kitchen equipment. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash register operations. Experience in food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Knowledge of restaurant or café environments is a plus; however, enthusiasm for learning is equally valued.
