Job Summary Juniper Restaurant is hiring a Restaurant Hospitality Worker to provide friendly guest service and support daily restaurant operations. This role assists with welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining clean service areas, and helping the restaurant team deliver a positive dining experience. Common Job Roles Restaurant Hospitality Worker Hospitality Team Member Restaurant Service Worker Guest Service Associate Food Service Associate Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional hospitality Assist with taking food and beverage orders accurately Communicate customer requests and special instructions to kitchen staff Serve food and beverages according to restaurant service standards Assist guests with menu questions and general service requests Monitor dining areas and respond promptly to guest needs Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining and service areas Clear and reset tables, trays, utensils, and service areas Restock beverages, napkins, utensils, condiments, and other supplies Assist with takeout, pickup, and order packaging as needed Process customer payments accurately using approved systems Respond to routine guest concerns and refer complex issues to management Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, retail, or customer service experience is an asset but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities Basic math and payment-handling skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask Preferred Skills Experience in restaurant or hospitality operations Strong guest service and relationship-building abilities Familiarity with POS and restaurant order-processing systems Good organization and time management skills Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams Positive attitude and willingness to learn About the Company Juniper Restaurant operates in the restaurant and hospitality industry, providing food and beverage service in a guest-focused dining environment.
