We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately while maintaining high standards of service. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service. Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout service periods. Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet events as needed. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Background in culinary arts or hospitality can enhance your application. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork and enhance guest experiences.
