Your ability to manage multiple tables, upsell menu items, and foster guest relations will be key to delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, assist with seating arrangements, and provide menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling additional menu items like cocktails or wine. Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables and reset for new guests swiftly. Ensure food safety standards are met through proper food handling and sanitation practices. Engage with guests to enhance their experience through personalized service, upselling beverages like spirits or fine wines, and providing detailed product knowledge. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including inventory checks and POS reconciliation. Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle diverse situations professionally. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances guest interactions. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Experience in food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques is essential. Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales revenue.
