Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our Emiliano's Mexican Table Family. The ideal candidate will possess a personal interest in establishing and building community relationships with our local customers as well as first time customers to our location. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with professionalism and care. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted. Provide detailed menu descriptions to enhance guest experience. Deliver food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a high standard of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process cash handling transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given and tips are handled appropriately. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes served. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties. Qualifications Previous experience in a casual dining or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
