We are a premier assisted living and memory care community dedicated to providing our residents with an exceptional, restaurant-style all-day dining experience. As a Dining Room Server, you will be the face of hospitality for our residents. This role is perfect for positive, service-minded individuals who want to combine a passion for food service with senior care. We provide a warm environment where you can build rewarding relationships with residents while ensuring they receive high-quality, nutritious meals every day.
Key Responsibilities Provide Exceptional Table Service:
Greet residents warmly, present menus, take accurate food and drink orders, and deliver meals promptly.
Accommodate Dietary Restrictions:
Review resident care profiles to ensure compliance with specific dietary restrictions, health needs, or food consistency alterations.
Maintain Dining Room Standards:
Set up, clean, bus, and sanitize tables and server stations before and after each meal service to ensure a welcoming environment.
Engage and Build Connection:
Foster a lively, respectful, and social dining room atmosphere by paying close attention to individual resident preferences and feedback.
Team Collaboration:
Assist kitchen staff with light prep work, stock inventory, and complete opening/closing side-work under the direction of the Culinary Director.
Job Requirements Age & Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years of age (applicants under 18 must be able to provide a valid Pennsylvania work permit).
Experience:
Prior experience in a restaurant, banquet, or senior living setting is a plus, but we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for enthusiastic entry-level candidates.
Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English with residents, families, and team members.
Food Safety Knowledge:
Willingness to undergo training to meet local and state food handling and sanitation regulations.
