Server / Dining Room Associate•Day Shift (Part-Time)

Senior Living Community Position Type:
Part-Time Shift:
1st Shift / Day Shift (6:00 AM•2:00 PM or 7:00 AM•3:00 PM)
Schedule:
Includes rotating weekend coverage
Pay Rate:
$12.50•$14.00 / hour Position Overview We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and attentive Part-Time Server to join our dining services team! In this role, you will deliver high-quality table service to our senior residents during breakfast and lunch, ensuring a warm, restaurant-style dining experience in a clean and comfortable setting. If you enjoy hospitality, customer service, and brightening the day of older adults, we would love to have you on our team!
Key Responsibilities Dining Room Service:
Greet residents warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, and serve meals promptly during breakfast and lunch hours.
Meal Prep & Setup:
Prepare dining tables, stock beverage and side stations, and ensure table settings are properly arranged before each meal service.
Resident Assistance:
Assist residents with special dietary needs or menu preferences while maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment.
Clean-Up & Sanitation:
Clear tables, buss dishes, wipe down dining areas, and sanitize workstation areas following meal service.
Team Communication:
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and care teams to ensure smooth service and address resident inquiries.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred (or currently enrolled).
Skills:
Strong customer service, effective verbal communication, and ability to multi-task in a warm dining environment.
Attributes:
Punctual, polite, patient, and eager to build positive relationships with residents.
Experience:
Prior experience in food service, restaurant waiting, or senior living dining is preferred, but entry-level candidates with a great attitude are fully welcome to apply!
