Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, process payments, and provide correct change or receipts. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety regulations. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving concerns professionally, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of customer service principles. Proficiency with POS systems. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest rapport. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is advantageous for understanding menu components and dietary considerations.
