Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Part-time Weekend Closing Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service during the evening hours, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing excellent guest relations from start to finish Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring prompt and correct processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating knowledge of drink service and beverage pairing Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and give correct change while maintaining accountability for cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar, dining room, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations Assist with bussing tables, resetting tables quickly during busy periods, and supporting kitchen staff with food preparation or other duties as needed Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction Ability to manage time effectively during busy weekend shifts while multitasking seamlessly between serving, cashiering, and cleaning duties Knowledge of wine types, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques to upsell effectively Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices within the food industry Experience in food handling, food preparation support, or kitchen experience is advantageous Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Part-time Weekend Closing Server and become an integral part of creating memorable experiences for our guests!
