Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling techniques Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest experiences Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests Assist with wine service, cocktail preparation, and spirits recommendations to elevate the guest experience Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly Skills Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for seamless order processing Proven experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality environments with a focus on guest relations Strong understanding of beverage service, including wine knowledge, spirits experience, and cocktail preparation Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while providing personalized recommendations Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in restaurant settings such as host/hostess roles or serving positions is highly valued Bilingual in English and Spanish Embark on a rewarding career where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences.
