In this energetic role, you will support the service team by maintaining a clean and inviting environment, swiftly clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring food reaches guests promptly and accurately. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for new guests Assist servers by delivering food orders from the kitchen to the dining area accurately and promptly Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, dishes, and supplies following safe lifting practices Support food safety standards by properly handling dishes, utensils, and food items during service Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely food delivery and table turnover Assist with basic food running duties during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is valued Familiarity with food handling procedures, cleaning protocols, and kitchen safety standards is a plus Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency but training will be provided Previous banquet or hotel service experience can be advantageous for understanding guest expectations Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for delivering excellent in-person customer service Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods is necessary Knowledge of food safety practices, basic food preparation, and culinary concepts can support your success in this role Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your energy makes a difference!
