Recipe Philly is a first-of-its-kind restaurant: a full-service dining experience built on the principles of Heirloom Hospitality. Every dish on our menu comes from a real family recipe, surfaced through a citywide competition and accompanying TV series. The food here means something. So does the team that serves it. We call the Server role an Experience Enhancer because that's what it actually is. Our stations are intentionally sized at 14 to 16 seats so you have real time with your guests. Your job is to tell the story behind a dish, to make a recommendation, to turn a dinner out into something they'll talk about. This isn't a volume game. It's a hospitality one. What you'll do Guide guests through a menu built from real Philadelphia family recipes and personal creations Deliver an informed, warm, and attentive experience from the moment guests are seated Know the stories behind the dishes as well as you know the dishes themselves Communicate clearly with the kitchen and your fellow team members to keep service smooth Contribute to a tip pool that supports the full front-of-house team What we're looking for Prior serving experience in a full-service restaurant Genuine enthusiasm for food, people, and storytelling Calm and organized when the floor gets busy A collaborative attitude. This team looks out for each other. Compensation Servers at Recipe Philly earn $3.00/hour base plus tips. Our station structure and check averages are designed to give you real earning potential. Most shifts run 5 hours, and tips are paid weekly.
