Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest experiences through excellent customer service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and effective communication. Experience with POS systems is preferred. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Upsell menu items including specialty dishes for an enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Assist with food handling, sanitation, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations Clear tables efficiently and assist with bussing to maintain a clean dining area Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu options Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the restaurant's hospitality standards Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest satisfaction Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; previous host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial Demonstrated professionalism with a friendly attitude and team-oriented mindset This position offers an engaging work environment where your hospitality skills can shine.
