Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and attentive experienced Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders Check customers out using POS systems such as Square POS or Toast POS. Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and beverage service, while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items like wines, spirits, or specialty cocktails, and dessert to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about the menu, offering recommendations based on guest preferences, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit. Requirements Must have 2 years experience in a similar role. Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing sales transactions and handling cash. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a lively restaurant or nightclub setting.
