Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the heart of an energetic, guest-focused dining experience! In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create memorable moments for our guests while showcasing your culinary knowledge and hospitality skills. This position offers a vibrant environment where your ability to manage multiple tables, upsell menu items, and maintain food safety standards will shine. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food orders using POS systems (Clover), ensuring timely delivery. Serve food efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Memorize the menu and know what is included in/on each signature roll. Recognize and identify each variety of fish served. Handle cash transactions, process sales accurately, and manage POS systems with proficiency. Maintain sanitation and food safety standards in compliance with health regulations; assist with food handling and kitchen support when needed. Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining atmosphere. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems ; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Culinary experience or background in the food industry is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude; previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous. Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and sales transaction processing.
