Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Small Mom and Pop Shop and be the heartbeat of our fast-paced, customer-focused environment! In this role, you'll deliver exceptional food service experiences by preparing and serving delicious menu items, managing transactions with precision, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. Responsibilities Prepare food items efficiently and according to established standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry, payment processing, and cash handling Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and upsell menu items to enhance sales and guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills for correct change and receipt issuance Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Experience in cashiering, bussing, or kitchen work within the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and service Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable guest experiences!
