As a Remote School Server, you will deliver exceptional food service to students ensuring a welcoming and efficient dining experience. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a positive school atmosphere while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. Duties Serve meals to students in a courteous and timely manner, creating a positive dining environment Prepare and portion food items according to menu specifications, adhering to food safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of serving areas, kitchens, and dining spaces throughout your shift Assist with food handling, setup, and breakdown of meal service stations for breakfast and lunch periods Support catering events or special school functions by providing attentive service and ensuring smooth operations Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, sanitation practices, and dietary accommodations Collaborate with school staff to ensure dietary needs are met and special requests are handled efficiently Skills Previous experience in related food service environments is highly valued Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Experience serving in cafeterias, catering events, or banquet settings is preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards Background in hospitality or restaurant work enhances your ability to deliver excellent service Familiarity with dietary accommodations and food safety regulations within the food industry This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for food with your desire to make a difference in educational settings.
