Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper change and receipts Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure timely service Use OpenTable or other reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu options based on guest preferences Handle guest inquiries promptly, resolve concerns professionally, and foster positive guest relations Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales transactions Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques Proven ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations in the hospitality industry Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest-centric approach Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Knowledge of restaurant operations including bussing, hosting/hostess duties, and food preparation is advantageous Join us to bring energy, enthusiasm, and exceptional service to every guest!
