Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient communication with kitchen staff Present menus, recommend specials, and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues swiftly to ensure complete satisfaction Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting stations to maintain a clean and inviting dining area Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Qualifications Previous restaurant experience or food service background, including fine dining or nightclub environments preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse needs effectively Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Knowledge of food industry terminology including culinary experience, food preparation, and serving techniques Host/hostess experience or background in guest services is a plus Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where guests feel valued from the moment they walk in!
