Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards, including fine dining etiquette when applicable. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Manage tables effectively by bussing, cleaning, and resetting for new guests to keep the dining area organized and inviting. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols. Assist with opening or closing duties such as setting up stations or cleaning dining areas to ensure smooth daily operations. Experience Previous restaurant experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife environments like nightclubs. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Experience in food service roles including serving, bussing, hosting, or cashiering will set you up for success. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential for maintaining high standards. Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables while providing attentive guest service. Background in culinary or kitchen experience can be a plus for understanding food preparation and handling procedures.
