Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend popular items, and upsell to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, responding quickly to requests or concerns to ensure complete satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to sanitation and food safety standards Bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas as needed Skills Proven experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols in the food industry Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations in fast-paced environments like fine dining or nightclubs Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation enhances service quality Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently using sales techniques like OpenTable reservations or suggestive selling strategies Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or server is highly desirable Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences, thrive in energetic environments, and want to grow your career in the food service industry!
