Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification for K-2, or eligibility to obtain Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly those with social/emotional learning needs Familiarity with hybrid resource models and ability to adapt instructional approaches Strong communication skills for collaborating with support staff, teachers, and families A compassionate, patient, and adaptable teaching style

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Provide direct instruction to students with varying levels of need, including both resource-level and higher-need support within the classroom Foster a safe, supportive classroom that encourages social/emotional growth as well as academic progress Collaborate with team members and families to ensure continuity of care and support Collect and track data on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
