Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner and become a vital part of delivering exceptional guest experiences! In this lively role, you'll support the front-of-house operations by ensuring tables are clean, well-maintained, and ready for new guests. You'll also serve as a key link between the kitchen and dining area, efficiently delivering food orders while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety. All roles are paid positions, offering valuable experience in the hospitality industry. Duties Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils with careful handling Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests efficiently using food running techniques Assist with food preparation and plating when needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic culinary tasks Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including sweeping floors and sanitizing surfaces regularly Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting trays, supplies, or equipment in accordance with safe lifting practices Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods during busy shifts Enthusiasm for providing excellent guest services in a fast-paced setting Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to hospitality excellence!
