Duties Greet guests warmly and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar reservation systems to optimize seating flow. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Toast, ensuring quick and correct processing of sales transactions. Provide expert beverage service, including cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation to enhance guest enjoyment. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures. Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, premium wines, and desserts to maximize sales opportunities. Clear tables promptly, bus tables as needed, and assist with basic food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods. Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable reservation platform. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine varieties, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and handling sales transactions seamlessly. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
