Job Description
Seeking friendly and energetic server(s) for busy multi-floor downtown restaurant. Minimum of one year server experience required. Full and part time hours available, must be able to work weekends. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive Memorize and explain daily specials Take accurate food, beverage and bar orders . Present and open bottles of wine Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that all orders are delivered accurately. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area throughout service. Deliver food to tables regardless of location or server. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special requests from guests. Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any concerns or requests during their meal. Accurately take payments and make change with funds from your personal bank. Keep the restaurant clean and compliant with safety regulations Requirements and Qualifications Must have excellent communication and active listening skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Friendly and positive attitude. Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic. Must be able to work weekends and dinner shifts. Previous serving experience is required . •Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
